have rewarded boss Lee Bradbury with a new two-year deal as the Hawks continue to fight for the Ryman Premier title.

Bradbury couldn’t stop the club from being relegated from the South last season but the club stuck by him in the summer and they still hope to bounce back at the first time of asking.

The Hawks are just a point behind leaders with three games left to play. The two teams face off on Easter Monday in a potential winner-takes-all match.

Regardless of whether they win promotion or not, Bradbury will remain at the Hampshire club for at least the next two seasons after agreeing on a new contract.

The former boss told Havant’s website: “‘I am very happy to have signed a new two-year contract to remain at Havant and Waterlooville club.

“This is a great honor for me and I look forward to continuing to work with everyone here as we all strive to push the club forward. Havant and Waterlooville are a great football club and I am very proud to be part of them.”

The Hawks travel to on Good Friday before hosting Bognor three days later as the Ryman Premier title race goes down to the wire.

“Friday is a massive game for us, we need to go there and try to keep the pressure on Bognor,” Bradbury added.

“Canvey are just three points from the drop zone and will be looking to get at least a point from the match, we have to go there with the same mind set we’ve had all season, which is to try and win the game.

“Nobody does anyone any favors, we have to look after it ourselves and come back down the road with all three points, going into our last home game of the season.”
