BOSS Steve Baker has apologised to Harrow Borough supporters after the club suffered relegation from the Ryman Premier.
Boro ended the season on 53 points, a total which would normally guarantee safety, but the 2-0 defeat at Lowestoft on Saturday condemned them to the drop.
A run of six defeats from seven games was the cause behind Harrow’s relegation as the club’s long Ryman Premier stay came to an end.
Former Egham Town, Walton & Hersham and Chipstead boss Baker took full responsibility following the disappointing loss at Lowestoft and refused to shift the blame.

In a statement, he said: “I just wanted to apologise for what happened at the weekend and the position the club finished in.
“Up until three weeks ago it seemed we were on course for a very good season but the last six games we were not good enough.
“I could offer lots of reasons or excuses such as form, player’s commitment, injuries, but as manager of the club I take full responsibility.
“I can honestly say I could not have worked any harder or been any more committed to the club. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and support this year it’s been much appreciated.
“They say you learn a lot more when you go through tough times and over the last few week’s I certainly have, about myself and others.”
