HAMPTON & RICHMOND Borough have secured the services of two of last season’s star performers, Charlie Moone and Tom Hickey.
Striker Moone scored 24 times for the Beavers last term to finish as their top scorer but left the club in March to join Conference South club Boreham Wood.
However, work commitments made it difficult for him to get to get to games and with his girlfriend moving to the Hampton area, it made sense for him to rejoin the Beavers.
Speaking about his return, Moone said: “It’s great to be back at Hampton. I’m really fond of the club.
“I played some of my best football here last season, and I am looking to replicate that this season.
“A lot of the squad from last season have stayed, which is great news. I think we have a good thing going here.”Hickey was a dominant force in Hampton’s midfielder during the 2012/13 Ryman Premier League campaign and his performances earned him a trial with Brentford earlier this summer. He failed to land a deal with the Bees and has now agreed to re-sign for the Beavers.
