DANNY LAWS has stepped down as manager of Ryman Premier League club Danny Laws.
Laws took the reins at Victory Road in March this year and guided them to a 12th-place finish in their inaugural season at Step 3 of the Non-League pyramid.
However, the Blues have made a poor start to the 2013/14 campaign, winning just three of their 13 league games, and find themselves 21st in the table.
Laws met with club chairman Andy Crisp on Monday and offered his resignation, which was subsequently accepted by the Blues chief.
A statement on the club’s website said: “Although Danny has resigned from his position of first team manager he has not severed ties with the club and he is still fully supportive of what the club is trying to achieve on and off the field.
“The club would like to place on record its thanks to Danny for his outstanding contribution in the short time at the club not just with first team matters but in helping shape the club as a whole.”
