STEVE PITT and Steve Ball have been announced as the new managerial team at Ryman Premier League club Leiston.
Pitt, who has been appointed as the club’s manager, had been working as assistant to Rod Stringer at Bishop’s Stortford.
He has also previously managed at Essex sides FC Clacton and Stanway Rovers.
Ball is a familiar face to Leiston fans having been part of their coaching staff when they won promotion from the Eastern Counties Premier League in 2011 and Ryman Division One North last year.
Pitt and Ball’s appointments have resulted in Neil Reader and Liam Gurney leaving the club.
Reader had been working as former boss Danny Laws’ number two, while Gurney had also been involved as part of the first-team staff.
