GEORGE BORG has been appointed as the new manager of Ryman League Premier Division club Enfield Town.
Borg returns to the Towners for a second spell following a hiatus from management.
The former Aldershot and Braintree Town boss has a real task on his hands, with the Greater London club struggling in 22nd in the league.
But he says he’s looking forward to the challenge and told the club’s website: ‘It’s great to be back at Enfield. It’s a great club run by great people with fantastic supporters.
“I can’t wait to get started. It will be a tough job, but I’m confident we can do it.”
Borg’s first game in charge is a huge one – Town take on relegation rivals Carshalton Athletic, who lie bottom of the league, on Saturday.
