Kingstonian Look to Repeat Triumph in Two Day Tournament

Hosts -Casuals, Borough and will be aiming to stop Ryman League Premier runners-up lifting the Geoff Harvey Vase in consecutive seasons this weekend in the annual four team Ryman League tournament.

New K’s boss Tommy Williams returns to King George’s Arena for the first time since leaving Casuals after helping them fight off relegation from the Isthmian South. But he’ll have to see off his old club before facing either Hayden Bird’s Merstham or Ryman Premier rivals Hampton and Richmond in Sunday’s final, an exciting prospect like the odds you can find at Stan James.

The K’s beat 4-1 last summer to win the two day knockout competition at Casuals’ King George’s Arena. This summer’s tournament kicks off on Saturday morning when the Beavers meet Merstham in an 11am kick off. The Casuals host Kingstonian in Saturday’s second match at 3pm before Sunday’s final at the same time and the earlier third place play-off match at 11am.

Entry for fans is £8 per day or £12 for the weekend, working out at just £3 per match – a great bargain, just like this Betfair code.

Concessions are also available and Casuals supporters and visitors alike can enjoy a fully licenced bar, big screen television and a full colour, glossy tournament programme.

spokesman Stuart Tree said, “Whatever the outcome of the four games, adding a competitive edge to the pre-season programme is always welcome and last year’s tournament saw no less than sixteen goals across the four games.”
