Maidenhead United striker Dave Tarpey has joined League Two side Barnet, with the length of the deal undisclosed.
The prolific 28-year-old sealed his Football League move last night, when the Bees beat the transfer deadline to complete the deal just after midnight.
The former Hampton & Richmond striker scored a staggering 46 goals for Maidenhead last season as they sealed promotion to the National League, and hit the ground running in Non-League‘s top-tier this season, scoring seven goals in six games.
Millions will be spent on #DeadlineDay, but skill like this from @MUFCYorkRoad striker @09tarps is priceless ????

Last week, Tarpey revealed in The NLP that he turned down a move to Coventry City earlier in the summer, but has now achieved his dream of playing in the EFL and told Barnet’s official club website: “We left it a bit late but I’m delighted to be here!
“I’ve come here to score goals. Hopefully I can bring the same strike record to Barnet and help them push up the league.”
Barnet boss Rossi Eames is equally delighted, saying: “He’s a goalscorer. Massive credit to both the Chairman and James for helping bring Dave in.”
Warmest best wishes from everyone at the club to @09tarps who has joined @BarnetFC after a little over 3 truly fantastic seasons with us ?? pic.twitter.com/mu0xNZ04dW
