Midweek Bostik North preview as Norwich United hope to pick up first points

Opportunities abound for AFC and tonight, with both league leaders and out of action.
Hornchurch have the chance to leapfrog the leaders when they face Maldon & Tiptree at the Wallace Binder Ground. Jimmy McFarlane’s side are coming off a fourth place finish last time out, and with high hopes for promotion will see this encounter as the perfect opportunity to stake their claim.
Dereham Town can also climb the table if they win against Wiltham Town, the league’s fourth place team would need a big goal-swing to go above Heybridge Swifts – but a chance to put themselves level with Jody Brown’s side is too good to miss.
Meanwhile bottom club Norwich United will hope to pick up their first points of the season at home to . It’s been a miserable start to the season at Plantation Park, so can Steve Eastaugh right the ship tonight at the sixth attempt?
Potters Bar Town will be hopeful of three points at , and likewise who host struggling . Bowers & Pitsea are at home to Grays Athletic in a mid-table encounter, while Soham Town Rangers travel to Mildenhall Town. Waltham Abbey are at , and are away at AFC Sudbury.
