Burgess Hill Town will be hoping to build on their impressive FA Cup exploits when they host Kingstonian at Leylands Park this evening.
Kingstonian are flying in the Bostik Premier and just a point off the top, but the Green Elephants will be confident mood, despite just two wins all season, after they beat National League South side Wealdstone 1-0 on Saturday.
With league leaders Billericay facing an FA Cup replay against Hungerford tonight, second placed Hendon could reach the summit this evening when they travel to Enfield.
Gary McCann’s men thrashed Tooting & Mitcham on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Arthur Lee, Matthew Ball, Zak Joseph and Joshua Walker sealing an impressive 4-0 win.
High-flying Leiston are also in action, but their promotion credentials will be tested as Brightlingsea Regent come to town looking for three points that could take them to the cusp of the play-offs.
In an incredibly tight division, Harrow Borough host fellow play-off hopefuls Wingate & Finchley after their frustrating 1-1 at Lowestoft.
Rory McAuley’s 90th minute equaliser denied Borough a priceless three points, but bouncing back could be hard against a Wingate side that will be fully refreshed from a weekend off.
Merstham were also frustrated at the weekend, after they were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Metropolitan Police, and face a tough game tonight with Folkestone Invicta the visiting side.
Invicta are just one round away from the FA Cup first round proper after they beat Aylesbury United on Saturday, and are going well in the Bostik Premier despite playing just seven times.
Margate are another of the many sides with promotion aspirations, as they currently sit in seventh, and they will be looking to extend their impressive away record when they visit Tonbridge Angels.
Steve McKimm’s team lost to 2-1 to Kingstonian on Saturday and now sit eleventh, but have good home form, having won three of their four fixtures on home soil.
Met Police will look to build on their point against Merstham when they host Dorking Wanderers, who dropped out of the FA Cup on Saturday with a 3-0 defeat at Concord Rangers.
Further down the division, Thurrock welcome Needham Market to Ship Lane looking for their third win of the campaign, but that will be difficult against a Market side who are yet to taste defeat on the road.
With bottom club Worthing in action tomorrow night against Leatherhead, struggling Tooting & Mitcham can put breathing space between them and the Sussex club when they host eighth placed Staines Town.
