There is a big night of Bostik South action ahead tonight, with three teams having the chance to top the division come 10 o’clock tonight.
With Lewes not in action, Corinthian Casuals, Sittingbourne and Whytleafe are all vying to be league leaders, but Casuals look to have the toughest task tonight as they travel to Greenwich Borough.
Borough are eleventh after an impressive 4-2 win at Thamesmead on Saturday, and will be in confident mood, but after a comfortable 2-0 win over Shoreham, James Bracken will also fancy his side to pick up three points.
A point behind Casuals are Sittingbourne, who face a trip to Herne Bay, while below them are Whyteleafe – they go to VCD Athletic.
Fifth place Walton Casuals will want to stay in touch with the leading pack when they go Chipstead, after both sides produced good weekend performances to claim three points.
While Walton came from behind to beat Hastings United, Chipstead, who are down in 15th, played brilliantly against promotion chasing South Park to win 3-1 away from home.
Hastings‘ weekend loss was the latest sign that they haven’t really got going yet this season, but they’ll be hoping to change that when they host Carshalton Athletic tonight.
Meanwhile, South Park will want to bounce back from that 3-1 reverse to Chipstead by beating lowly Ashford United at the Homelands Stadium.
Further down the division, ninth place Hythe Town entertain Thamesmead Town, hoping to bounce back from their tight weekend loss to Sittingbourne, and Molesey host East Grinstead in a game that could heavily impact the bottom.
Another big game at the wrong end of the division is Ramsgate against Faversham Town, with Ramsgate fresh from their thrilling draw at Carshalton while Faversham will want to respond from their 1-0 loss at home to Guernsey.
