Bideford AFC have bolstered their defensive options with the signing of Liam Gregory from Tiverton Town.
The left-back made his debut for the Evo-Stik South West side in Saturday’s 3-1 home victory over Slimbridge at The Sports Ground.
The Robins’ website welcomed the former Barnstaple Town promotion-winner in a statement which read:
“We’d like to officially welcome our newest signing Liam Gregory who made his debut on Saturday against Slimbridge.
“Liam joins us from Tiverton Town and previously spent three seasons at Barnstaple Town helping them win promotion to the Southern League for the first time.
“Liam came on as a second half substitute in Saturday’s game and played an important role as the game turned in our favour.
“Welcome to the club Liam!”
A former team-mate of Gregory’s at Barnstaple, Ryan Turner, struck an equaliser for the Robins after Slimbridge took a very early lead in the match, before Ben Seymour claimed two late goals to wrap up the three points for play-off sitters Bideford.
