Leatherhead sign hotshot striker Liam Nash

Striker Liam Nash has joined Leatherhead on a one-month loan deal from League One side Gillingham.
The 21-year-old, who has made 10 appearances for the Gills this season, could make his debut as early as this evening for his new club when Leatherhead take on Folkestone Invicta at Fetcham Grove in the Bostik League Premier.
The forward is eligible to play up until, and including, Leatherhead’s game against Burgess Hill Town on December 9 and provides key firepower for Tanners boss Sammy Moore who will be looking to take advantage of four games in hand over some divisional rivals.
Nash signed for Gills following his impressive pre-season friendly performance against Chatham Town in July, having scored 37 goals for Maldon & Tiptree last season.
Named captain after a string of fine performances for the Jammers, Nash’s career has seen him progress up the football pyramid via Essex Senior League sides Hullbridge Sports and Great Wakering Rovers.
