Chester FC have completed the signing of Torquay United defender Myles Anderson on loan until the end of January.
The experienced centre-back, 27, began his career in East London with Leyton Orient, but failed to make the breakthrough at Brisbane Road and moved north of the border in 2011 to join Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.
After making just one appearance for the Dons, Anderson established himself in Italy, playing for the likes of Monza, Pro Patria and Serie A side Chievo.
The defender joined Torquay in February, making 23 appearances for the Gulls and scoring a vital goal in last season’s final-day win over North Ferriby, as Kevin Nicholson‘s men preserved their National League status.
Anderson will go straight into Chester’s side for tomorrow’s clash against high-flying Bromley.
