This weekend’s Non-League Paper is, as always, jam-packed with the latest news, interviews and match reports from step 1 to step 5 and 6!
Our featured games in the National League include:
Leyton Orient v Sutton United
Justin Edinburgh saw Orient’s winless run extend to 15 games in his first match in charge. Can he finally mastermind three points? It couldn’t be tougher, though, as leaders Sutton come to town.
Chester v Solihull Moors
This is a huge relegation six-pointer with both sides sitting in the bottom four and separated by just two points.
Macclesfield Town v Wrexham
It’s third vs second at the Moss Rose as the Silkmen take on the Dragons. Wrexham are joint top with Sutton while Macclesfield are just a point behind.
Barrow v Dagenham & Redbridge
Ady Pennock has made a big impact at Barrow, who are now seven points clear of the drop. John Still’s Daggers are in good form too, having won their last three games to lift them into sixth.
Tranmere Rovers v Torquay United
Rovers have lost twice in their last nine National League matches and are unbeaten in five at home. Torquay, occupying a place in the bottom four, are enjoying a purple patch themselves, having won at Sutton, beaten relegation rivals Leyton Orient and earnt a useful point against high-flying Aldershot.
Dover Athletic v Hartlepool United
Chris Kinnear’s Whites have slipped to fifth after going four games without a win while frustration is growing again at Pools, who were locked in the changing rooms by manager Craig Harrison after their late defeat at home to Macclesfield last weekend.
