AFC Fylde have signed former Ilkeston and England C midfielder Callum Chettle on loan from Peterborough United until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old – son of Nottingham Forest legend Steve Chettle – progressed through Forest’s academy before signing for Ilkeston where he became their youngest ever player at the age of 16.
He played 68 times over a three-year period for the club and earned an England C call up in June 2015, playing in their 2-1 win over Republic of Ireland U21s.
That summer, Chettle signed for Nuneaton Town in the National League North where he made 25 appearances, scoring two goals.
In January 2016, Peterborough signed him for an undisclosed fee and he has since played 20 times for the League One club.
Chettle will be available for the Coaster’s trip to Bromley on Saturday.
