Gary Alexander and his assistant john Mackie have made the shock decision to step from their positions at Greenwich Borough despite the club sitting fourth in the Bostik South.
A club statement confirmed that the pair had resigned due to the club’s current financial restraints.
Captain Mark Phillips and Charlie MacDonald have also left the club.

The managerial duo joined in December 2015 and guided Boro to promotion from the Southern Counties East Football League and then into the Bostik South play-offs, where they were beaten in the semi-finals by Corinthian Casuals.
Tom Carlse, Liam Hickey and Huseyin Torgut will take charge of first team responsibilities when Greenwich travel to Hastings United this afternoon.
A permanent successor is expected to be named early next week.
