Former Torquay, Wrexham and Woking loanee Joe Quigley has joined another National League club on loan from his parent club AFC Bournemouth.
The 21-year-old has signed for play-off hopefuls Boreham Wood having been at League Two side Newport County earlier this season.
Quigley is yet to have made a first-team appearance for the Premier League’s Cherries but did make his internatinal debut for the Republic of Ireland U21s in September.
Speaking about his latest loan move, Quigley said: “I am glad to get it over the line and I am happy to be here. I got a call off Terry (Harris) yesterday and then Luke (Garrard) gave me a call, and I had a good chat with him.
“It sounded positive and it sounded like a club moving forward, so it was a no brainer.
“They have got a good squad, I knew some of them from my time at Woking, and they are on a great run. Obviously there are a few draws in there, so hopefully I can come in and score some goals to turn them into wins.”
Quigley’s first loan spell came at Poole Town in 2015 and that year, moves to Torquay, Wrexham and Woking followed.
It was with the Cards where he excelled and the following season he landed a loan move to Gillingham, in League One.
