Slough Town joint manager Neil Baker has expressed his delight after his side picked up three straight wins to cement their position within the the Evo-Stik Southern Premier table.
The Rebels secured wins over Frome Town, Chesham United and Dunstable Town to give themselves a 13 point cushion over seventh placed Royston Town in the race for the final play-off position.
Baker told the Miadenhead Advertiser, “We’ve managed to get three massive results and it would take a major collapse from us now.
“I think its between Hereford and Kings Lynne for first and we are now a possible option for third with Kettering and Weymouth.
“We are two points behind Kettering but they have got a game in hand. But they have also got a tough run in.
“They’ll be looking at us now and will realise now that we are on their coat tails and that will put a bit of pressure on them.”
After recording three wins in six days, Slough will be hoping to extend there brilliant winning form when The Rebels face 15th placed Startford Town this afternoon.
