Barrow part company with Ady Pennock

National League club have announced that manager Ady Pennock and his assistant Jamie Day have left the Cumbrian club.
Pennock took charge of The Bluebirds in October following the dismissal of and guided the club away from the drop zone.
A statement on Barrow’s official website read, “Everyone at would like to thank Ady & Jamie for all of their efforts to keep the club in the National League last season and wish them both well for the future.”
Before his short stint in charge of the Bluebirds, Pennock managed a range of clubs within both the League and including , and Gillingham. .
Barrow finished the National League season in 20th position in the table, just one point above the drop zone, after the race to stay in the division went down to the final day of the season.
Ultimately, despite their 2-1 defeat to already relegated , the Cumbrians stayed up after failed to beat Dover.
