Following their promotion from League Two last month, Coventry City have moved to sign Dutchman Bouwe Bosma from Lewes.
The 22-year-old midfielder was part of the Lewes squad who raced to promotion from the Bostik South last season.
Bosma has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the option of an additional year. It is expected that the 6 foot 2 midfielder will train with the Sky Blues’ under 23 side to begin with.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Coventry manager Mark Robins said, “Bouwe is a player who has been identified through our recruitment process as having the attributes and ability to make the step up to a higher level, so we are pleased to bring him in from Lewes FC.
“He has been signed with an eye on the future and will be based initially with the Under 23s squad as he continues to put in the hard work required for his development as a footballer, and we look forward to seeing him progress.”
