Bostik Premier side Bishop’s Stortford have announced that veteran striker Jamie Cureton has committed to playing for the club for the upcoming campaign.
The former Football League front man found the net on nine occasions last season as The Blues finished up in 18th position in the Southern League Premier Division.
The 42-year-old has scored over 300 career goals, having notably prolific spells with the likes of Bristol Rovers, Reading, Colchester United and Exeter City.
Cureton joined Bishop’s Stortford midway through last season after he left fellow Southern Premier League side Farnborough, where he had scored 10 goals in 23 appearances for The Yellows.
The striker will no doubt be hoping that his 27th season in professional football will be a successful one!
