After leaving Chester, striker Ross Hannah has opted for a move to Evo-Stik Premier side Gainsborough Trinity.
The 32-year-old, who parted company with the Blues last week, previously spent a spell with Gainsborough during the 2006/7 season.
Hannah enjoyed his most prolific season in front of goal during the 2015/6 season when he fired 22 goals in 42 appearances to steer Chester away from relegation danger in the National League.
The striker featured 31 times for Chester last season but as the club’s financial issues worsened he was sent out on loan to National League North side Southport.
Hannah brings a rich goal scoring record to the Northolme, having found the net 60 times at Step One level.
Gainsborough will be desperate to bounce back to Step 2 level at the first time of asking after suffering relegation from the National League North by just three points last season.
