Lewes have tied down their management team for a further two years ahead of the club’s return to the Bostik Premier.
Manager Darren Freeman, assistant Ross Standen and coach Tony Coade have committed their future to the Rooks until May 2020 after two successful years at the club.
The trio have guided Lewes back to Step 3 after finishing second in the Bostik South last season amassing 99 points.
“I’m delighted to have signed a new two-year deal,” said boss Freeman. “I believe I’m at a great club and what I have here is a club that backs me, and a great rapport with the supporters and the players.
“It’s a fantastic club that could potentially move into the National League South in the next few years, and Ross, Codge and I are looking forward to the challenge.”
It’s been seven long years since Lewes last graced Step 2, ten since their one-season stand in Conference Premier, but Freeman and his team have brought the good times back to the Dripping Pan with crowds increasing by 25 per cent since their arrival in 2016.
