North Wales Police have warned Wrexham and Newport County fans to behave or face robust consequences ahead of their FA Cup second round clash on Saturday night.
The National League side are preparing to host their Welsh rivals live on BT Sport with an 8pm kick-off.
A bumper crowd is expected at the Racecourse Ground and police have been working with both clubs to ensure there is no trouble between supporters.
Chief Inspector Mark Williams told the Daily Post: “North Wales Police has a responsibility to safeguard the right of fans to attend and to safeguard the rights of individuals to go about their business.
“Public safety and maintaining order is our priority.
“I would ask that those attending the match conduct themselves in a responsible manner and allow others in the area to go about their business.
“Anyone who seeks to exploit this football match by behaving in a criminal, racist or anti-social way will be dealt with appropriately.”
