The FA Trophy and the battles across Non-League‘s top flight dominate the debate on this week’s NL Full Time podcast.
With no National League North or South action at the weekend, the National League and the Trophy’s third qualifying round are in the spotlight on the hour-long show.
While Chorley‘s Mgapies closed the gap on the sides above them with a second win on the spin, NL Full Time’s Rob Worrall caught up with Notts County boss Neil Ardley after the wings of his Magpies were clipped at Aldershot Town.
After witnessing Stockport County’s third late goal in as many games in their 1-1 draw at home to Ebbsfleet, NL Full Time’s Chris Pratt sat down with Fleet manager Kevin Watson.
Hungerford boss Ian Herring is grilled by Darren Smith after his Crusaders went down by two goals to one against Chelmsford in the Trophy.
And after the weekend’s shock results from Atherton Collieries to Yate Town as the underdogs had their day, NL Full Time regulars Luke Edwards and Dickie Worton add to the debate.
Entitled ‘Doing it the Ard Way’ and released as always on a Sunday night, the podcast for fans of Non-League’s top tiers is free to download or stream on iTunes, Spotify and Audioboom.
Return
The team running NL Full Time returned in September with their usual smorgasbord of National League chat and interviews smattered with titbits and news.
The podcast was originally launched in January 2017 by The Non-League Paper’s Stockport County writer Chris Pratt and Brandon Smith to provide a Final Score-type show on Saturday evenings.
It later morphed into its current format, a Sunday podcast focusing on the big news and stories around National League’s three divisions.
Smith, a student who followed Bognor Regis Town, now commentates on FIFA X Box and PlayStation tournaments all over the world.
As well as Pratt, four other journalists and Non-League broadcasters contribute to the show – BBC Surrey’s Aldershot commentator Rob Worrall, AFC Telford’s media man Worton, Hyde United scribe Luke Edwards and snapper and Met Police supporter Thom Lang.
Serena Orsi-Dadamo has also started contributing and is being tipped to help to deliver more great content this season.
