CHRIS Agutter says he leaves Hastings United with no hard feelings – but the time was right to find a fresh challenge.
United were left stunned when Agutter resigned as manager after nearly five years at the club.
He had led Hastings to the top of the Isthmian South East division in each of the unfinished 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons before starting promisingly this term.
But the U’s are now beginning an unlikely search for a new manager after Agutter decided he needed to set his focus on a new beginning.
