PETERBOROUGH Northern Star this week pulled out of the United Counties League and have folded their adult teams – bringing 116 years of football history to a close.
The club, who were third from bottom from Premier Division South having taken just seven points from 20 games, say they have been evicted from their Focus Centre home following an ongoing dispute.
The reserve side have also been withdrawn from the Peterborough & District League but the club remain committed to their youth set-up.
