NEIL BAKER believes trusting the Slough Town players to turn around their stuttering start to the season is paying off.
The Rebels had just one win from their opening eight National League South matches.
But now a run of four wins and a draw in their last five has seen them climb the table.
Joint-boss Baker, who has taken Slough from Step 4 to to Step 2 alongside trusty side-kick Jon Underwood, admits there were times when doubt crept in – but he says keeping the faith has been a key part in the upturn in fortunes.
