VETERAN boss John Still says he jumped at the chance to come out of retirement to become the new Head of Football at Southend United.
The 71-year-old has led Maidstone United, Dagenham & Redbridge and Luton Town to the Conference title in a glittering managerial career spanning 45 years and over 2,000 games.
Now he is back and looking to lead another promotion tilt alongside Shrimpers, boss Kevin Maher.
