SHIFNAL Town have stunned supporters by axing managers Danny Carter and Andrew Carrier sacked and replacin them with AFC Telford United assistant James Haynes and his coach Kevin Sandwith.
In their two-and-a-half years in charge, Carter and Carrier led Shifnal from the bottom of the West Midlands (Regional) League into the Midland Premier, where their side was in seventh place at the time they were relieved of their duties.
As well as promotion to Step 5, in May Shifnal lifted the TJ Vickers Cup and Shropshire Senior Cup to make it a hat-trick if triumphs for the pair.
