THE JD Cymru Premier league has reached the halfway mark and thanks to their 2-1 win over Barry Town United at Jenner Park, The New Saints hold a nine-point lead.
There are six games left to go before the top six split off from the rest. Then it will be a ten-game shoot-out before the champions are crowned to earn a place in the qualifiers for the Champions League.
TNS got off to a flying start with a goal from Danny Redmond after four minutes. Jordan Williams doubled the lead just after the hour before Theo Wharton got one back.
