CRAIG’S NEW JOB IS MINT

FORMER Hyde United and Stalybridge Celtic goalkeeper Craig Dootson has been appointed permanent manager of NPL West side Kendal Town.
Dootson, 42, enjoyed two spells with the Mintcakes as a player and teams up with current assistant David Woodruff and first-team coach Andy Whiteside.
A club statement read: “We’re delighted to appoint Craig who has worked in professional and semi professional football for a number of years. He brings with him a wealth of experience and contacts. We see this as a really good fit for the club.”
