FORMER Brentford, MK Dons and Boreham Wood striker Charlie MacDonald had landed the permanent manager’s job at Barking – and he’s celebrated by completing a double swoop.
The 40-year-old player-boss, out injured at present, has been looking after first team affairs at Mayesbrook Park since Justin Gardner left at the end of November.
Now, the Blues have confirmed that much-travelled MacDonald will stay in the hotseat for the foreseeable future and the new boss made an immediate impact by landing high-profile pair George Purcell and Freddie Parker...
