TIM FUELL SAYS GROUND GRADING RULES SHOULD NOT BE OVER OFFICIOUS
Up and down the land, hundreds of volunteer working parties are putting in extra hours every week, to move this, paint that and secure various additions to their club’s ground as the Ground Graders visit, to approve or disapprove, the essential works required to maintain their status in the football pyramid.
Yet, every year when I look at the criteria of Grade A, Grade B, Grade C etc from The FA, I can’t help feeling we risk losing some of the magic that makes us enjoy Non-League football.
