Our Mick is the Wright answer

IN RESPONSE to Ray Ellis’ question, the player who had that honour is King’s Lynn Town’s Mick Wright.
He holds the British record of 1,152 games for one club, including 445 consecutive games between 1961 and 1968.
Mick joined the Linnets in September 1961 from Northam Town and stayed until 1981.
Sadly, King’s Lynn have no memorial in honour of Mick, which I think is a great shame.
