FOLLOWING the question raised in The NLP (February 13) regarding the greatest number of appearances by a Non-League player for one club, Mick Pullen’s 967 appearances for Bognor Regis Town from 1976 to 1996 must be up there.
Added to this, his twin brother Paul himself played just short of 900 games for the Rocks.
However, there was one occasion where the referee sent the wrong player off.
