ENGLAND legend Karen Carney says Non-League football played a vital role in her stellar playing career – and since making the jump into punditry.
The 144-cap international – now a pundit for BBC, Sky, and Amazon Prime – volunteered at local club Solihull Moors whilst studying for a Masters degree in Sports Psychology.
She grew up as a fan of Moor Green and then Solihull following the merger with Solihull Borough, attending matches regularly with her father.
