THANK you so much to Keynsham Town for cancelling their scheduled visit to Mousehole in the Western League Premier Division on Tuesday night!
In their statement, they claimed the distance they had to travel was “akin to a Step 2/3 division than Step 5” for a midweek game.
My view? Well, calling a match off on the day is similarly not befitting of a Step 5 team either! The game between Ludgvan and Helston Athletic Reserves in the St Piran League provided an unscheduled but adequate replacement game for my own over 200-mile trip to Cornwall on the day.
