DRURY’S PRIMED TO TAKE GATE GIG

ANDY DRURY believes Jay Saunders deserves credit for the position he leaves Margate in – and the new Gate boss says he will now work day and night to push the club forward.
The experienced Non-League midfielder was unveiled following Saunders’ departure for National League South Tonbridge Angels.
Drury, who was still playing at Step 3 for Folkestone Invicta until March and had a spell as Danny Kedwell’s player-assistant with Cray Wanderers earlier in the season, first stepped into the dug-out as a number one at the end of last season.
