AMBITIOUS Macclesfield FC have landed something of a coup with the capture of attacking midfielder Alex Curran from National League North side Curzon Ashton.
The 23-year-old began his career at Blackburn Rovers and, after progressing through the youth ranks, moved to Colne where he scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists during the 2018- 19 season.
After a two-year spell at Stockport County, which included a loan move to FC United of Manchester, Curran made the move to Curzon Ashton last summer where he made 44 appearances for the Nash, scoring 13 goals.
