Williams relishing life in the USA

SITTING outside a cafe on a warm day in Rochester in Upstate New York, Ed Williams discusses his impressions of his American adventure.
“The place is so big,” Williams smiles. “You can’t walk to the shop to get some milk. You’ve got to drive everywhere.
“The people are very different. They’re a lot louder!
But they’re a lot friendlier.
It’s really enjoyable.
“I say to people I’m in New York State but I am a sixhour drive from New York.
If you did that back home you’d be in Scotland! We’re less than three hours from Toronto.
