BEN LIDDLE is following in dad Craig’s footsteps after signing for Darlington.
The 23-year-old was a free agent following his release this summer from League One new boys Bristol Rovers.
Liddle, a midfielder, spent last season on loan at Queen of the South.
A former Middlesbrough youngster, he has played in the Championship and made his first ever start for Boro in January 2020 in the FA Cup against Tottenham.
Dad Craig is well known to Quakers fans having played for them close to 300 times.
