SOUTHEND Manor have appointed Alex O’Leary as their new manager with the task of lifting them off the bottom of the Essex Senior League.
O’Leary, who joined from Bowers & Pitsea where he was a firstteam coach, replaces James Wakeling following Manor’s winless start to the season.
His departure was followed by a mass exodus of players, with Manor being crushed 8-0 at Enfield on Wednesday.
Leary will be assisted by former Hayes & Yeading United and Margate striker Kudus Oyenuga, who recently turned out for Coggeshall Town.
