Bitton's withdrawal from the Western League has been blamed on the “absolutely ridiculous” travel requirements emanating from the FA’s league restructure.
The club, based to the east of Bristol, pulled out of Step 5 with immediate effect this week but chairman John Langdon confirmed the reserves, women’s and junior sides would continue.
