PLAYER HIT BY TEN-YEAR BETTING BAN

A STEP 3 footballer has been hit with a 10-year ban over allegations of spot fixing in a televised FA Cup tie.
Kynan Isaac was deemed to have “influenced a football betting market” by getting booked while playing for Stratford Town against Shrewsbury in November 2021. The tie introduced betting markets that are not routinely seen at Stratford’s level, including the ability to bet on players to receive a card.
