FARNHAM Town are searching for a new manager – just days after setting a new league attendance record.
Sean Birchnall, appointed by the Combined Counties South side less than five months ago, quit after last Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat by struggling Sheerwater which was watched by 767 spectators.
Last season, former Farnham player Birchnall was head coach at Winchester City when they won promotion to Step 3. He was also head coach of the Army football team which he led to Inter-Services and Southern Counties Cup victories.
