WHEN it comes to football highs and lows, I have experienced both in the FA Cup.
The last time I played in the first round proper I was at Oxford City when I was 19. We beat Colchester United at their place 1-0. That was a special day – a feeling we play Non-League football for.
I’ve then felt the other side of the game too. In the second round at Notts County I gave away a penalty. We were locked at 2-2 going into stoppage time when Jorge Grant popped up to win it for them. It was heartbreak.
