JOHN Askey’s shock sacking at York City has to go down as the most outrageous decision in Non-League football.
Winning promotion and then sustaining a mid-table standing in the top-flight has finally united the fans and given the club solidity for the first time in years.
Shame on Glen Henderson and the rest of the York City board.
