MARK Molesley says it was the enthusiasm of chairman Iain McInnes which convinced him to join Gosport Borough as director of football.
The 41-year-old former Weymouth, Southend United and Aldershot Town boss has been tasked with the job of guiding the Privett Park club away from the Southern League Premier South relegation zone.
Molesley comes in to oversee first-team affairs but not initially to fill the void left by manager Shaun Gale, who left the club last month, while caretaker Ben Kneller departed this week.
